Membership

Register your interest in membership.

Membership opens in our second year, once there is a published body of work and an established rhythm that makes a recurring fee defensible. Five categories are already defined, and public authorities will never pay.

Five categories.

  • Institutional

Banks, licensed exchanges, payment institutions and financial institutions operating across one or more African markets.

  • Corporate

Issuers, technology and infrastructure providers, law firms and consultancies serving the digital-asset sector.

  • Professional

Individual compliance officers, MLROs, counsel, risk leads and analysts. Fellowship alumni hold this category free, for life.

  • Academic

Universities, law clinics and research institutions working on digital-asset policy, financial regulation or supervisory practice.

  • Regulatory Observer

Regulators, supervisors, ministries and public authorities. This category is free, permanently, and carries no financial relationship.

We publish no price before membership opens, because a fee stated in advance of the work that justifies it is a promise rather than a price. Registering interest carries no cost and no commitment.

Tell us which category fits, and what would make membership worth holding. We use your answer to shape the categories before they open.

Free stays free

The core research catalogue is free at the point of use whether or not you ever hold membership. Membership funds capacity, not access to the evidence.

No paywall on public authorities

Regulators, supervisors and ministries receive everything at no cost, with no financial relationship in either direction.

Independence unchanged

Members fund capacity. They receive no editorial control, no advance sight of findings and no solicitation rights.
