Our model

How dialogue becomes practice.

Most institutions in this space do one thing: convene, or research, or train, or advise. The Legum ecosystem does all four, deliberately connected, deliberately governed apart.

  1. 01

    Dialogue creates the questions

Regulators, banks, exchanges and professionals debate a live regulatory question in a working session of 12 to 40 people. Every session ends in a Dialogue Note and an Issue Log entry within five working days.

  2. 02

The Policy Lab creates the intelligence

The Issue Log, our running register of unresolved regulatory questions by jurisdiction, drives the research agenda: policy briefs, trackers, country comparisons, supervisory benchmarks, and the annual State of Regulation Report.

  3. 03

    The Fellowship builds the people

The curriculum is drawn directly from the Issue Log and refreshed annually. Fellows produce real research, checklists and consultation input under practitioner supervision. Not case studies, live work. Fellowship alumni receive free professional Dialogue membership for life.

  4. 04

Legum Compliance builds the systems, separately

Where a business decides it needs to operationalise what it has learned, that is its own commercial decision. Legum Compliance is one option among many, governed and disclosed independently of the Dialogue, with no solicitation permitted on this platform.

  5. 05

    Implementation generates the next question

Real-world compliance experience surfaces new edge cases, which return to the Issue Log, and the cycle continues.

This is why membership, sponsorship and participation all sit under one independence policy: the moment any part of this loop can be bought, the whole loop stops being worth attending.
